Hi, I'm Lisa.

A woman navigating midlife in real time—and learning how to feel strong, grounded, and at home in my changing body.

My Balance & Bliss was created for women who want to take care of themselves without making wellness another full-time job.

I’m navigating perimenopause too, and I know how confusing it can feel when your energy, body, sleep, mood, strength, and needs begin to change.

This is a space for practical wellness, honest conversations, and realistic choices that help us feel stronger and more connected to ourselves.

Why My Balance & Bliss Began

I have always cared about wellness, movement, nutrition, and personal growth. But over the years, wellness has come to mean something much deeper to me than workouts and healthy meals.

Life changes us. Midlife changes us. Grief changes us.

I have experienced seasons that have asked me to rebuild, redefine what taking care of myself looks like, and learn how to keep moving forward while honoring what I have been through.

As I entered midlife, I began noticing changes in my energy, body, recovery, and overall needs. At the same time, I was learning that true wellness is not just about what we eat or how we exercise.

It is also about how we care for ourselves emotionally, how we make space for grief, how we manage stress, and how we find moments of peace and joy alongside everything life carries.

I created My Balance & Bliss because I wanted a place to share that journey honestly—not as someone who has everything figured out, but as a woman learning, healing, growing, and navigating this season in real time.

My goal is to make wellness feel more realistic, more compassionate, and less about perfection.

A Little About Me

I’m a certified personal trainer, longtime educator, wife, mother, writer, and lifelong learner.

I have spent much of my career helping people learn, grow, recognize their strengths, and feel capable of taking the next step. That same philosophy shapes My Balance & Bliss.

I believe wellness should support your life—not take it over.

These days, you’ll often find me strength training, walking, spending time outdoors, journaling, meditating, experimenting with nourishing meals, or simply trying to create a little more balance between doing and being.
